The new generation of computers that we will have in the future may benefit from the Ph.D. research of Anton Akhmerov. This talented young physicist has made significant breakthroughs in the use of two novel materials for a quantum computer. On May 31, Akhmerov received his PhD degree "cum laude" for the thesis entitled “Dirac and Majorana edge states in graphene and topological superconductors”.
