STW has awarded two of our researchers, Warner Venstra and Val Zwiller, with a so-called Phase-1 grant. The grant,  part of the STW funding program Take-off, is to be used to set up a company or to conduct a feasibility study to bring the researcher's innovative idea to the market. QN/MED postdoc Warner Venstra will use the grant to work on his project BreathTag. QN/QT PI Val Zwiller's proposal was entitled 'Plug and Play Quantum Light'.
