PhD position in Delft, Chirlmin Yoo lab: Single-molecule study on microRNA

We are looking for a motivated student to investigate microRNA using single-molecule methods. In molecular biology, RNA has traditionally been viewed as a passive information carrier. However, recent ground-breaking discoveries have changed this paradigm, and a group of non-coding RNAs, including microRNAs, are now recognised as regulators of gene expression. You will investigate the whole spectrum of microRNA biogenesis, action, and regulation processes utilising cutting-edge, single-molecule fluorescence techniques. Experience in single molecule techniques is not a pre-requisite. Visit for more information.
