Target group
All staff of Leiden University (as well as a limited number of external participants), who want to consider their career or examine their opportunities and possible directions for self-development, in preparation for their Performance and Development Interview.
Objective
You will gain insight into:
Course content
Prior to the course you will complete a personality questionnaire and a team role questionnaire. The results will be discussed with you in an individual interview, and you will be given detailed reports on the questionnaires.
During the course you will continue the analysis, including self-analysis, in the group and you will focus on such questions as: what suits me, what am I good at, what gives me satisfaction and what gives me pleasure in my work. During the course additional instruments will be used, such as "latent talent", managementdrives and a competences quadrant. On the basis of career perspectives and motivation you will be able to make goal-oriented choices and to translate these into a personal profile.
You will also make a start with the development of your "personal brand". How do I present myself as a strong brand, distinctive and unique?. You will get tips and advice for making a goal-oriented plann for your career. During the course you will receive personal feedback and tips for the future.
Working method
In this course you will have a mix of individual questionnaires with individual feedback and items as teamwork in which you also receive feedback from the other participants.
After the course you can make an appointment with the trainer for personal and professional feedback on your planning and your personal profile.
