During the International Conference on Materials and Mechanisms of Superconductivity in Washington DC between 29 July and 3 August, Professor Teun Klapwijk received the Heike Kamerlingh Onnes Prize for his experiments in the field of superconductivity. Professor Klapwijk is full professor at the Kavli Institute of Nanoscience of TU Delft, in the department of Quantum Nanoscience and the Physics of NanoElectronics research group.
