Tjerk Oosterkamp has been appointed as a new member of "De Jonge Akademie" (14-11-2008)
The Royal Dutch Academy of Sciences (KNAW) has appointed ten new members for 'De Jonge Akademie', one of them is Tjerk Oosterkamp (1972). The new members are young talented researchers from various disciplines who received their PhD degrees less than 10 years ago. Tjerk leads a researchgroup that studies applications of probemicroscopy, among others to study individual proteins in celmembranes. He recently received a Starting Grant from the European Research Council.
