Ahead of the Erasmus-Descartes conference on 16 November on European technological sovereignty and quantum technology, the Institut Français NL organises a Young Talents program. Twelve students from the Netherlands and France will work through two challenges ('Green Quantum' and 'Cryptogaphy') with two coaches, and will pitch their findings at the beginning of the conference. The Young Talents program thus begins earlier that week, between 13–16 November. Two teams will work on either of two topics: 'Green Quantum: how can quantum technology help tackle climate change', and the other team on 'Cryptography: safe quantum future'.

Requirements
The 12 selected participants must attend both the online meeting (Oct. 18th) and the 4-day physical session in Rotterdam and Delft (Nov. 13-15). Participation in the entire program is mandatory (incl. the conference on Nov. 16th).

Who?
Master students and PhD candidates (PDEng/PhD) at a Dutch or French university in the field of quantum engineering are eligible for this event. To apply, you should be aged between 20 and 35 and with a good knowledge of the English language. International students are also invited to apply.
