Abstract
In the past decade vast progress has been made in size-tuned colloidal quantum dots with applications for light generation and harvesting applications. Metal organic halide perovskites represent another class of solution-processed materials that has exhibited a rapid ascent also providing excellent optoelectronic properties. In this presentation we report on our group's latest efforts to build practical devices for efficient, low-cost solar energy capture and light generation using these advanced energy materials and combinations thereof.
