** First Event Horizon Telescope observations of our Galactic Centre Black Hole**

On May 12 the Event Horizon Telescope Consortium, known from their image of the M87 black hole shadow, will announce their latest results on the Galactic Centre source SgrA*. Leiden team members Violette Impellizzieri (Allegro) and Huib Jan van Langevelde (EHT project director) will introduce the methods, results and implications.
