Innovational Research Incentives Scheme
Vici is one of the personal forms of funding offered by NWO every year to boost scientific talent. It is an incentive for the Vici researcher themselves as well as creating many opportunities for young researchers to work in these newly established research groups. The researchers are free to choose the subject of their research. Vici is part of NWO's Innovational Research Incentives Scheme, that also includes Veni and Vidi awards. The aim of this scheme is to offers researchers at different stages in their career the opportunity to carry out pioneering research.
