Are you a staff member of Leiden University and would you like to lend a helping hand to a new international colleague, go for a walk, or have a coffee? Then the “Help a Fellow Network” is perfect for you.
The “Help a Fellow Network” seeks to facilitate an easy transition for new incoming staff into life in the Netherlands. By being a social point of reference, you can play a key role in helping a fellow international feel at home and welcomed into our community. Invite your new colleague for cup of coffee, a tour around Leiden or show him or her the social and cultural habits of our country.
Would you like to participate? All interested staff at Leiden University can register to receive a match. Volunteers will be connected to a newcomer for a period of three months but are of course free to stay in touch afterwards. If you wish to sign up as a volunteer, please Sign up here
