Serge Lemay is a leading academic with a career spanning a variety of innovative research areas, most recently as a pioneer in the developing area of electrochemical nanofluidics. His work has been recognised by numerous grants and awards. These include a VIDI Grant in 2002 and VICI grant in 2007.
The research conducted by the chair in Nanotechnological Biophysics is one of the pillars of the 3TU Centre of Excellence on Bio-Nano Applications, which is part of the 3TU Centre of Competence on Applications of Nanotechnology. It will also be one of the key domain chairs in the new Bionanoscience department of the Applied Sciences faculty.
