WIQD was founded by Stacey Jeffery (CWI) and Julia Cramer (Leiden University). Two quantum scientists who, through WIQD, had the mission to bring together women in quantum in the Netherlands, and beyond, for support, networking, and community growth. Last year’s first annual symposium set a great example! Besides our annual symposium the Organizing Committee organizes monthly and quarterly events, with good turn outs. However, we think it is time for the next step, to get more mature and broaden our horizon. In addition to academics, we also want to reach companies, policy officers and more. Time to diversify! Which is only possible if we do so ourselves. So come to our WIQD’s annual symposium ‘Diversify Yourself!’
Come connect with our WIQD community, listen to interesting keynote speakers talk about topics like quantum science, start-ups, Diversity & Inclusion and personal growth. Also, join our wide range of workshops, but most importantly: get inspired!
Registration and more informationMore information (such as a link for registration and the program) can be found on this WIQD-page. The deadline for registration is June 7th. Participation is free of charge, but there is a limited number of available spots.
