Bionanoscience (BN) seminar by prof. Jie Xiao (Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, USA). Her research focuses on single-molecule biophysics. Her laboratory develops novel single-molecule imaging and labeling tools in single cells to study the structures, functions, and dynamics of macromolecular assemblies. For example, her lab pioneered the use of superresolution imaging and single-molecule tracking in microbiology to study bacterial cell division and transcription. The talk will start at 12:45h, and lunch is provided from 12:30h.

Hot Topics in Bionanoscience ('Meet-the-speaker')
This seminar is combined with a Hot Topics session with the speaker, immediately after the seminar. These Hot Topics sessions allow for more in-depth discussions with the speaker. More information and registration for this session can be found here.
