To open our 2015-2016 season, our next KNAW Biophysics meeting will be on Tuesday, November 10th.
As usual, the meeting will take place from 14:00-17:00 at the Trippenhuis in the center of Amsterdam (https://www.knaw.nl/en/de-knaw/het-trippenhuis) and afterwards you are invited to join us for drinks and snacks at De Bekeerde Suster across the street.   

We would  also like to formally welcome Hyun Youk (TU Delft) as a KNAW Biophysics Meeting co-organizer!

Our Tuesday program:

14:00-14:45 "Chalk talk" by Lukas Kapitein (Utrecht University): “Navigating the cytoskeleton: novel tools to dissect and direct intracellular transport.”

14:45-15:10  Onno Broekmans (VU Amsterdam & Lumicks): "As the worm turns: a novel tracking algorithm to resolve coiled shapes in C. elegans.”

15:10-15:35  Emrah Balcioglu (Leiden) "Counting adhesion molecules in focal adhesion."

15:35-16:00  coffee break

16:00-17:00  Terence Strick (Institute Jacques Monod / CNRS, Paris), "Using correlative single-molecule approaches to reconstruct transcription-coupled DNA repair."
