Talent day for female scientists
Each three years NWO and the Dutch Network of Women Professors (LNVH) organize Pump your career, a special talent and career event for female scientist. This year Pump Your Career takes place om Wednesday 12 December at the Beatrix Theatre in Utrecht.
Diversity and inclusiveness are indispensable for science. If science wants to be relevant for society then it needs to reflect the various identities and perceptions that exist within society. To boost the careers of female scientists, facilitate their promotion to higher positions, and to generate attention for the various dimensions of diversity and inclusiveness, the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) and the Dutch Network of Women Professors (LNVH) organize Pump Your Career. Women working in (applied) science (PhD's postdocs, assistant, associate and full professors), policy officers and policy makers with respect to gender diversity are very welcome.
Pump you Career is the place to be to gain inspiration and refine your skills during workshops, lectures and meet & greets. And of course there will be plenty of opportunity to network with each other. During this day the Monitor Vrouwelijke Hoogleraren 2018 will also be presented.
