The winner of the FOM Physics Thesis Prize 2012 is LION theoretical physicist Dr. Anton Akhmerov. Anton conducted his PhD research under the supervision of Prof. Carlo Beenakker and defended his thesis in May 2011 cum laude. The prize of 10,000 euros will be awarded on January 22, 2013, at the annual Physics @ FOM Veldhoven conference. Read more (in Dutch)
