Koen Hooning, master student Applied Physics at Radiation Science & Technology (RST), was recently rewarded 12.000 euro to improve the ‘power window’, that turns sunlight into electricity. RST has found new materials that could enhance the power window’s efficiency by a factor five. The grant was awarded by the Delft Energy Initiative Fund and will be used to build a prototype. read more
