As of this month, the Casimir Board has a new member: prof. dr. Hans Tanke. Hans Tanke is professor in the field of 'Biomedical Imaging' at the Bionanoscience department of the Kavli Institute of Nanoscience in Delft, and is full professor in the field of ‘Cell growth and Transcription regulation’ at the Leiden University Medical Center. Hans Tanke will replace Nynke Dekker, who has served as Casimir board member and co-director over the past five years. The Casimir Research School would like to thank Nynke Dekker for her effort.
