Postdoctoral opening in 2011 at the Instituut-Lorentz for theoretical physics of Leiden University.
Our nanophysics group studies theoretically the quantum transport properties of nanostructured materials, in particular with regards to their potential for solid-state quantum information processing. We collaborate closely with the experimental nanoscience group at Delft University of Technology. Quantum transport of Dirac and Majorana fermions in graphene and in topological insulators is central to our current interests.
We are now inviting applications for postdoctoral fellowships starting in 2011. If you are interested in joining our team, please send a message to Carlo Beenakker. (beenakker@lorentz.leidenuniv.nl)
