Peter Kes sheds new light on Superconductivity

In the archives of Museum Boerhaave he found two notebooks that shed new light on the discovery of superconductivity in Leiden in 1911. Those original notes from Nobel laureate Heike Kamerlingh Onnes disclosed that the discovery was no mere luck, but the serendipitous result of a well planned experiment. Read more (in Dutch)
