In the NanoOptics group we are always looking for talented and motivated new candidates to join our team. Experiments are our speciality, but if relevant for the group we are completely open to dig into complex theories with you.
Your work in the group will depend on your talents/interests and what is “hot” at the moment when you start. It may involve nanofabrication in the clean room, state-of-the-art measurements, data analysis, computer simulations and theory development. Experiments range from optical input-output measurements of novel nanostructures determining their chiral, color-changing or fs-dynamic behavior to tracking fs-pulses inside structures. The work is at the forefront of science and students are often (co-)authors on high-ranked publications.
Currently there are two vacancies for PhD positions and one for a PostDoc. If interested please send your CV and a cover letter to l.kuipers [at] tudelft.nl.
A number of master projects are available. Since the group has recently landed in TU Delft you are welcome to ask any question on what we do and how we do it. Have a look at our website and contact any of our group members, we are looking forward to hear from you!
