PD in Delft, Aubin-Tam lab position: physics of biological processes at the membrane studied with optical tweezers

The Aubin-Tam group ( in the Bionanoscience department of TU Delft ( is looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with a PhD in applied physics, biophysics or a related field. This postdoctoral position concerns the study of biomechanical processes in an in vitro reconstituted free standing lipid bilayer combined with optical tweezers. The project will require the candidate to use novel biophysical tools. Previous experience in membrane biophysics or in working with optical tweezers is a plus.
