QSC Quantum Training and Junior Day

Date:

Time:

10:00-17:00 hrs

Location:

Online

The Quantum Software Consortium (QSC) organises an online training related to quantum internet. Because of COVID-19 this training will be fully online.

Key lecturers: Ronald de Wolf and Wolfgang Löffler
Ronald de Wolf will teach a mini-course on potential applications for quantum internet (beyond QKD and CHSH, which almost everybody already knows) and Wolfgang Löffler will teach a mini-course on quantum hardware (in particular photonic and spin qubits) and important applied and fundamental challenges.
The training days are aimed at all scientists working on experimental and theoretical quantum sciences, from quantum algorithms to simulations to quantum networks, and from superconducting to diamond to photonic qubits, to name just a few.

In the afternoon of December 1st from 14:00-17:00 there will be a second edition of the QSC Junior Day, for PhD students and postdocs only. Julia Cramer (Leiden) will give a workshop on 'Science communication for quantum technology'. There will be a Quantum pubquiz, and time for online networking and lightning talks, where you can show a few-minutes slide.

Please save the dates (November 30 + December 1: 10:00-17:00) in your agenda.
Registration for the training is free but required. To register click here
