PROGRAM

RISE workshop Intercultural Communication

Date:

Location:

Online

RISE stands for Researchers in Science for Equality and therefore strives not only for gender equality but for equality in a broad sense, including cultural equality. Scientists work together with people all over the world. Appreciation of cultural diversity and having good intercultural communication skills are of high value.

We are part of a colourful community and it can open doors to learn more about other cultures.

However, in general the focus on the content of the work is so strong, that we miss opportunities to gain a better understanding of this cultural wealth. For sure, cooperation with colleagues becomes more fun and easier when based on a mutual understanding.

Are you curious and eager to learn more about intercultural communication?
Follow our online workshop, organised in collaboraton with Aletta Wubben.

You will gain insights about cultural differences and communication techniques that are valuable in any collaboration.
