Take part in FameLab 2019!

Can you talk for three minutes in glowing terms about your science or medical research? If so, sign up for the Leiden preliminary round of FameLab, the international competition for science communication.

Competition for young researchers

FameLab is an international competition in the area of science communication, organised by the British Council. Young scientists, medical and biomedical scientists (BSc, MSc, PhD candidates) from 21 to 40 compete with one another to explain their research to a mixed audience of non-experts in an understandable and appealing way.  PowerPoints are not permitted; the participants may only use two objects to illustrate their talk. Please note: the competition will be in English.
