Last year, TU Delft created the Delft Technology Fellowship with the aim of substantially increasing the number of top female scientists. In this framework TU Delft offers around a dozen positions to top female scientists with specific research areas, for which the board finances two thirds of the salary costs and a start-up grant. In January 2012 a selection procedure commenced. In May, two nominations for the Applied Sciences faculty were approved for a period of five years. full article
