This year's Joan van der Waals colloquia cover a diverse range of excellent scientists that are of interest to everyone! We have speakers that work on quantum optics, soft matter, bio-physics and quantum materials. At least half the speakers are in two or more of these fields.

We have speakers from Columbia, Purdue, MIT, ICFO, MPI Stuttgart, Oxford, Cambridge, Frankfurt, Paris and Vienna. What they all have in common is that they all have exciting new research to show!
