Introducing new Casimir PhD Platform member Luka Bavdaz (and: we have two more vacancies!!)

In the first months of 2020, Delft/QuTech PhD student Luka Bavdaz joined the Casimir PhD Platform. Luka works in the groups of Giordano Scappucci and Menno VeldhorstWith Luka joining the PhD Platform, we say goodbye to Guoji Zheng. The Casimir Board would like to thank Guoji for the time and effort he has put in co-organising multiple Casimir Spring Schools and NanoFront Winter Retreats!

About the PhD Platform

The six Casimir PhD Platform members meet about five times per year with the Casimir scientific director and coordinator to discuss the Casimir Courses and to plan activities for their fellow PhD students and postdocs, like the Casimir Spring School. Do you have ideas that the PhD Platform can bring up to improve our research school, or do you have questions about Casimir? The PhD Platform members are happy to help you out. Click here for their contact information.

Do you want to join the PhD Platform?

We currently have two vacancies: Nicole Imholz from Delft/Bionanoscience and Gesa Welker from Leiden/Quantum Matter & Optics will be leaving our committee soon. Are you interested in taking over their spot? Then please contact Nicole, Gesa, or Marije to hear the details!
