Kavli Colloquium

Hendrik Dietz (Laboratory for Biomolecular Nanotechnology, Technische Universität München): "Molecular systems engineering with DNA"

Hendrik Dietz is one of the world-leading scientists in DNA origami - a cool, imaginative and powerful technique to form basically any structure at the nanoscale with DNA.

Before his colloquium, we’ll have a brief pre-program where three external experts will explain the 2015 Nobel prizes in physics, chemistry and medicine to us:

o   Henk Schallig        Nobel prize medicine
o   Stan Bentvelsen    Nobel prize physics
o   Claire Wyman       Nobel prize chemistry

Hendrik Dietz will give an extra seminar on Friday morning November 6th, entitled: "Getting more from single molecules".
