The 2018 annual Fall Meeting of the General and Molecular Microbiology division of the KNVM will take place in Delft. On the program are two international key note speakers, Prof. Rotem Sorek (Weissmann Institute) and Dr. David Bikard (Institute Pasteur), who will talk about the fundamental and applied sides of microbe-bacteriophage interactions, including bacteriophage-encoded quorum sensing systems and genome wide CRISPR screens. Speakers from diverse Dutch institutes and universities will present their research, ranging from evolution, ecology and cell biology to medical microbiology, single cell studies and engineering.
