On September 1st 2022, the Netherlands National Open Science Festival will take place at the Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam. This Festival provides researchers the opportunity to learn about the benefits of various open science practices. It is a place to meet peers that are already working openly or are interested to start doing so.

Registration is free of charge, and only required for in-person attendance. The plenary and 'Open Science in Policy' sessions will also be live-streamed. All other workshops and sessions will be held in-person only, given their interactive nature.

If you have an example of how you have engaged with society and/or societal partners as part of your research process(es) that you want to share to inspire others, you can submit your use case by June 24 and compete for an Open Science Award.
