ABOUT CASIMIR

Two new PhD Platform members - don't be afraid to contact them!

[20-11-2020]

Last month, Delft/BN PhD student Ana Restrepo Sierra and Leiden/QMO PhD student Corné Koks joined the Casimir PhD Platform. With Ana and Corné joining the PhD Platform, we say goodbye to Nicole Imholz and Gesa Welker. The Casimir Board would like to thank Nicole and Gesa for the time and effort they have put in co-organising multiple Casimir Spring Schools and NanoFront Winter Retreats! Gesa was also one of the driving forces behind the Casimir surveys, which contributed greatly to the PhD student wellbeing in all our research groups.

About the PhD Platform

The six Casimir PhD Platform members meet about five times per year with the Casimir scientific director and coordinator to discuss the Casimir Courses and to plan activities for their fellow PhD students and postdocs, like the Casimir Spring School. Do you have ideas that the PhD Platform can bring up to improve our research school, or do you have questions about Casimir? Or do you simply need someone to talk to? The PhD Platform members are happy to help you out! Click here for their contact information.
